John Trosko Interviews Brandie Kajino, Home Office Organizer
www.organizingla.com – John Trosko of the organizingla Blog, interviews Brandie Kajino, owner of The Home Office Organizer (http ) at the National Association of Professional Organizer Conference, Reno Nevada, April 2008. Brandie says “My passion is helping home office professionals get organized. It’s hard to make a difference in your business or your work when you can’t find anything. Like the phone number of the high powered lead you got at your lunch meeting, the sample you promised to send out or a thank you note you want to write. It’s not that your office has to be a magazine spread or anywhere near perfection (say it with me, booooooring). What it does need to do is support you so you can get down to business and do what you’re good at. I believe everyone has something inside of them that can change their corner of the world. In order to do that, we’ve got to dump the extras and streamline. That’s what all the “productivity” hullabaloo is about: are those stacks of, uh, stuff helping you or hurting you? The center of activity of your business, creativity and livelihood is your office. Is it working for you or not?”
