My husband has an office here at the house and does about 90% of his work from home. Occasionally he’ll go out on site and into the storefront to meet with clients that shouldn’t be coming to the house. Some expansion at the storefront (great news for business!) pushed DH’s boss out of his office space. Right now he’s using the conference room as his office, but it’s just a temporary solution. One option the two of them talked about is having Boss set up his office here at the house with my husband. His house isn’t really equipped to do that, but he and my husband could easily share an office here. The company would pay us a bit of rent (around 0/month) for the “office” space.

Neither my husband or Boss are concerned about my 3 1/2 year old son causing any problems for them with work, but I’m still nervous. Would you even consider an arrangement like this (it’s one of two or three options they have), or would you veto it from the get-go?

I would do it, they know the risks lol, Daddy has been working out of the house for a while now, so does your son understand that and handle it well enough?
