When you joined your MLM company, did you envision yourself really working from your kitchen table or from your home office? Are you doing that? Or are you spending your time * Going to networking meetings, handing out cards, spending time and money networking * Renting meeting rooms at hotels and hosting opportunity meetings * Driving to your upline’s house, hoping that those folks you’ve invited actually show up. A Duplicatable Home Business If you are wanting to sponsor folks into their own Home Business, but you met them, contacted them, and showed them the opportunity anywhere buy your home, well what are they going to think is required to do this business from Home? Is working from home possible? In a word: Yes. I build my business completely from the internet, from my kitchen table, my Lazy-boy, and sometimes even from my desk. So, Yes, Virginia, there really is such a thing as a Home Business

Question by : I sold a Xbox360 on Craigslist. Apparently a button on the controller does not work and he is going to sue me?
So i sold an Xbox 360 slim at 0. The Xbox was not mine, it was my cousins. I sold it on Craigslist and my cousin said it worked fine. The buyer came to my house and he tested the xbox and decided to buy it. The day later he came to my house i was not home and told my mom that one single button didn’t work. (I am 17) So then the next day he texted me saying “I will sue you for selling me something broken and you are going to have to pay a fee for my law office,” Can he sue me for this? If so what are the consequences?

Best answer:

Answer by Jonathan Lance
talk to your cousin. Did he advertise it as fully functional? Did the button work when he tested it? Ask he questions and if it was not advertised as working properly and the button worked when he tested it than his case will not hold up.

Question by : How much should the federal work force be reduced?
I believe that each Senator and Representative needs to chip in. They must submit a list of federal jobs in their HOME districts they want to eliminate it and post it on their website. This way, their constituents can review it and make a more informed decision regarding whether eliminating federal jobs in their neighborhoods will be a benefit to them or not. And who knows their home districts better than those who represent them? They should be acutely aware of the jobs they want to get rid of in their home districts.

This is not as hard as it sounds. For example,. in Rep. Joe Johnson’s district there could be ten post offices and Social Security office hiring 500 people. He goes back to the voters and says, “I want to get rid of no less than 150 jobs right here in XYZ. We’re going to close half of the post offices and the Social Security office.”

Then the voters can decide.
I thought Ron Paul wanted to cut military spending?

Question by Miss. H: harassment at work, what should I do?
I work at the United States Post office as a mail carrier, I’ve been working here for about a month and a half. I am so stressed out, every day I am told that I may be fired because I am so slow. Honestly the one rout they had me on the whole time I’ve been there I finish when I’m supposed to and then they give me part of someone Else’s route to do. But when they put me on a new route with No instruction of where to park where the street ends, then this takes time to figure out,… People miss case my route so when im delivering mail I am literally going in circles at first I thought I was doing something wrong but the longer Ive worked here I find out the people that i thought were nice people are actually trying to get me to quit. I can’t quit because I need this job, but every day I have a panic attack before going to work. It’s like a big high school X 10. yesterday they told me I have no common sense, a couple of the carriers were talking about me in the parking lot saying how they have to case two routes in the morning and I don’t know how to do my job, then she started yelling as I was bringing trays into the office ” Exactly” she kept getting louder and louder clapping her hands jumping around then she gets in my face in her “im ready to fight” stance and just told me some people have common sense to do this job and some don’t, I told her I’m new to this area I moved 2,500 miles away from home to a new state that I’m not familiar with and you expect me to know the streets like the back of my hand, with no map. the carriers are supposed to make a map for you, showing you ware to park where the street ends. not just give me trays full of mail with no brake up so I have to sort thru everything in the truck…. I walked into the office to see my manager and 4 regulars in a group talking they stopped as soon as I walked in and stared at me as I made the long walk to my station, Then the female that was getting all “ghetto” with me in the parking lot now starts in the office as well, my manager does nothing. I also twisted my ankle at work a week ago I have a doctors note to be out of work for a week, yet I am still working and my ankle looks like I have a water balloon attached to the side of it, it hurts to walk, they see me limping every where and I tell them it hurts but they still give me all walking routes. What can I do I don’t like going to work to be harassed and abused, it’s like I have no rights.

Question by Diogenes: Why do people in the US (and Atlanta in particular) complain about their work commutes and gas prices?
I worked at an office in Atlanta for about a year, before moving on to a better job in another part of the country.

I lived in an apartment two blocks away. My “commute” was a brisk five-minute walk. I could roll out of bed at 8:30, take a shower, get dressed, and be in the office “early” by 8:55. If I left the office at 5, I’d be back home by 5:05 or so. My apartment was about 0 per month, which left me with enough money to take out a mortgage on a piece of land in another state.

But my co-workers were idiots. SEVERAL commuted more than an hour EACH WAY by car. They could barely pay their mortgages, and that was BEFORE fuel prices started rising sharply.

Why do people make such bizarre economic decisions? If you commute two hours to work, that’s the same as working two extra hours for negative pay (due to gas prices). Don’t people want to see their kids grow up, rather than spend more time in a car?

Why not just move downtown and avoid all that nonsense?
I really don’t feel sorry for them, because they chose to make very bizarre life decisions that put them into such terrible commuting patterns.

Also, why does Atlanta sprawl so much, even compared to other sprawling cities? Atlanta sprawl is just ridiculous. It goes on FOREVER, even though the population isn’t that high compared to other metro areas.

Best answer:

Answer by J B
I think people bought homes before prices shot up. Gas used to be really cheap.

Question by Annie: People at work mistreat, harassment, retaliation and favortism, what can I do?
At work I went through problem with a Hispanic worker when I started work there. He is like a busy body, worry I about my work load, what kind of work I received, who I talk to ect… He watching and went gossip with other people are Supervisor to get me in trouble. They are friends work there long time. So one day I just tease him in Spanish be quite (Cayate). He got so mean his face turn red and stand in the middle of the office area, yell out loud to me (don’t tell me to Shut Up and said” from now on don’t talk to me anymore. I got so nerves and scare. That happen during lunch. When Supervisor back from lunch, her Assistant went report her. I saw she talked to him in her office and after that she called me in her office. She asked to to said’ sorry to him. I said’ if you were me would you said’ sorry to him. She replied ‘I don’t know. So from there after he giving me very hard time at work. He passed by, called me “” and watch me all over at work “when I arrive at work “which door I coming in from and he came out to that door. When I come back from lunch, and when I come back from lady room or keep pass by behind my desk. I felt very stressful all day. One day my Supervisor asked me to move my desk to a busy location that no one want to sit there. After that day, I got sick and stay home and when I got back to work. I got so sock because all my stuff on my desk thrown to the new desk and someone else sit there. I felt so bad and cried in her office. She told me if I keep acting like that she will call the umbulance. When the big boss come to office and told her that ‘he harrassment me. From there after he harrass me more. He went ahead filed complaint about my behavior to Human Resource to protect himself before I file on him. At work, my office on 7 floor and I went to 4th floor pick up mail. So I got so stress and I ran into Supervisor Vietnamese. I share with her what happen and she went and told people in another office and they called Human Resource. And people in Human Resource want me to write a letter how he harrass me and I did. They called me to Human Resource and asked me question to my letter explaination. I felt people in Human Resource so mean to me because I told them from my whole heard how is happen but they make me look like I am a “lire” and not protect me at all but make me look stupid or trouble maker and I got more stress talk to people in Human Resource. They transfer me to different office and I belief the problem follow because gossiping and people are know people. When I arrived in another office I do not feel comfortable since first day. Her Assistant introduce me this is your Supervisor. And Supervisor response this office lots of work “don’t be scare’ that time she is “Acting Supervisor” She let’s me she at her previous desk with all her stuff there. And she sit at a nice acting Supervisor desk. Because I felt she is mean from first day when I arrived. So I felt more comfortable with her Assistant. I have all my stuff from previous office that I need to move in. So I went to know where is my desk. So my Assistant asked her for me where I sit? Than my Supervisor came and be mean to me “said” from now if you have any question “come to straight to me “don’t come to someone else. I am sure my Supervisor in the new office must gossip to co-workers about I filed complaint about my previous worker harrass me. So the people here don’t like me because they used to kick back in office “leave office early to happy hour, come to work late, talk sexual in the office and that why the co-worker must not like me when I am there and because of Supervisor I belief her bad mouth. Co-Worker mistreat me pick dirty work for me to do and throw at me to do, boxy me around, yell at me. Supervisor always gone from the office all the time vacation, family, ect… leave office early every friday. In office some co-worker are her favor. So when Supervisor back from vacation I brought up the problem that this co-work thrown work to me in a bad manner. Thought my Supervisor correct back turn around I saw both of them at Supervisor desk talk on another language and laugh. From there after and got retaliation by Supervisor come to my desk yell at me earlier morning when I arrived at work “said I have to be at work by the “clock on the wall” but other co-work come late than me and I am the first one. I go back my cell phone time and I am not late. One day, I have appointment for my Dentist. I already make up lunch time and after work for my count time to leave early for my appointment and that only verbal now fill out time slip. Than she turn around put word in my mouth “said “I leave early for half hour and that not true. And she never mention it until a month later. When another co-worker move to this
